Not just hive. When I saw this I was not sure if it was a bug or not.

Also saw the same thing in the normal game. Sometimes the champion will spawn with slow and first strike.
Once, just once, I wish things would go according to the gorram plan!

I would also like to point out that the zebra race can get both of these traits as well, but I'm not sure if it is intended or not.
Once, just once, I wish things would go according to the gorram plan!

I was just thinking how back in my day (when I started playing) this happened and I did not think anything of it. Of course this was a long time ago, back when the enemy having first strike did not mean much because the player could not have first strike or life steal. There was someone you could worship, I think it was 'Frostborn' not sure. Piety was gained by fighting higher or lower then your level but lost if you fought the lowest level. For that reason I would leave a level 2 or 3 alive and fight everyone that was not my level. I forgotten the benefits but I had a lot of piety. With the updates and passage of time I did not think anything of the enemies that had first strike and slow.
