Unfortunately so. Alchemists start with cauldron and if it is lost or broken (or sacrificed, there is a certain way to do so) no herbs for them.

Trap sense is actually planned for the trickster class. Changelings are TBD unfortunately. So far everything I try to do with them is either too complicated or just should be dragged to Nurse Redheart for reconstructive surgery.

Speaking of your other questions - in your "Profile" tab you can cnahge your title (Personal tab) and upload an avatar (Personality tab).

Enemies in this game are simpler. They do not have class-race alignment, instead each type of the enemy is balanced separately. So guard dog and diamond dog may have nothing in common!

Champion IS not a status per se. It is merely a label assigned to the most powerful enemy (enemies) on the level. It gives certain advantages (for example you DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT PUSH CHAMPIONS!) but if I recall correctly it doesn't change the stats.

We usually are until next release goes into production. Then something fails. It is literally the most bugged part of the whole roguelike :<

Yes, the force wave will generate a message for each enemy hit - those are different events.

Actually all monsters are scaled differently with regards to their baseline hp/attack.

Changelings get -10% hp.
Changeling Enchanters: -20%
Changeling Mages on the other hand has +60% health to compensate for their low attack (-50% penalty).

Yep. Dragons manage to break the game in many very unpredictable ways.

Now I am somewhat scared to release changelings.

I'll try to check the code this week. That looks really odd. The only idea I have is that there's a trap hidden under the strong enemy.

Is that a 0.9.6 replay?
We're having a huge problem while trying to keep replays stable between versions, so currently we dropped this task altogether.

After every new major version old replays are no more applicable unfortunately.

Score depends on a lot of factors.

* Field (e.g. win on Frozen Caverns gives you +50, win on Hive - +100)
* Level (+50/lvl)
* Remaining gold (+1/$)
* Remaining piety (+3/piety)
* Length of the game (multiplier, goes to 0.1 after 900 turns)
* Had you won? (+many)
* Achievements (each achievement gives ~20% score on top)
